PRE-OPERATION
Evaluation Consultation Procedure
- Contact the Thiago Bianco Clinic to schedule your appointment for surgical evaluation and procedure feasibility.
- The evaluation is particularly important to clarify all possible doubts. After the consultation, the patient receives the medical request for all the necessary preoperative exams and the transplant scheduling will be set.
Pre Op follow-up
- Preparation for the preoperative examination: complete blood count, coagulogram, serology and electrocardiogram with release from the cardiologist.
- If necessary, Thiago Bianco Clinic`s trichologist is able to solve any hair disorder that needs correction before the transplant.

SURGICAL DAY
Arrival to the Clinic
As soon as the patient arrives to the Clinic, the team who will be responsible for the hair transplant follow-up will welcome you.
Surgical planning

- Dr. Thiago Bianco evaluates the donor and recipient areas of the patient with an exclusive follicle mapping software developed by himself.

- Presentation of the donor area follicles calculation that will be extracted to fill the receiving area without leaving any flaws. This step avoids waste by unnecessary extractions.

- New hairline design in the right place, highlighting the patient´s natural traits.
Beginning of the Surgery
- After checking all the preoperative exams, our team prepares the patient to perform the surgery, which lasts from 8 to 10 hours in order to bring greater peace of mind and confort for the patient.
- SURGICAL DAY

- New hairline design in the right place, highlighting the patient´s natural traits.
- Dr. Thiago Bianco designs the new hairline, concludes the surgical appointment, and approves the planning with the patient.
- Beginning of the Surgery
- After checking all the preoperative exams, our team prepares the patient to perform the surgery, which lasts from 8 to 10 hours in order to bring greater peace of mind and confort for the patient.
- Transplant
- Pre-Incision
- Dr Thiago Bianco starts the surgery differently from that practiced in other clinics: in the Thiago Bianco Method, the micro incisions in the recipient area (baldness area) happens before the removal of the follicles.
- This inversion of the common hair transplant sequence, exclusive to the Thiago Bianco Method, allows the doctor to make the most of the extracted follicles life span in order to achieve 100% use.
- Excision
In this part of the surgery, Dr. Thiago Bianco extracts the mapped follicles one by one from the donor area that go immediately for microscopic analysis carried out by the team.
- Implantation
In this last part of the surgical procedure, Dr. Thiago Bianco implants each follicle removed previously in the pre-incisions that he had already left prepared at the beginning of the surgery. The correct implantation, always observing thickness, angle and growth direction of each graft, allows to achieve the most natural look result possible and avoids any follicle waste.
- Recovery
- Após a cirurgia, o paciente vai para uma área de recuperação pós-anestésica (RPA) individualizada, recebe uma refeição leve e é liberado.
- After surgery, the patient goes to an individualized post-anesthetic recovery area (PAR) where he is given a light meal, and then is released.
- Post-surgical recommendations: take all medications correctly, take a shower without washing your head and sleep on your stomach with pillows.
- POST OPERATION
- Post operative follow up
- Return to the clinic on the first postoperative day for the first hair wash.
- On the same day, patients with high density of transplanted grafts are referred to hyperbaric chamber to speed recovery.
- Release of the patient for normal activities, including air travel.
- Hair Care and Return
- After discharge, the patient receives all the necessary guidance from the nursing team for the continuous post-surgical remaining hair treatment.
- The new transplanted hair is permanent and will no longer fall because they are immune to the baldness gene.
- Follow-up return after transplant: after 3 months, 6 months and 1 year of surgery.
